Refund Policy (Game Site – One-Time Purchase)

Effective Date: March 22, 2026

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on AgentVillage for access to our digital game. By purchasing access, you agree to this policy.

2. Free Trial (Pre-Purchase Access)

We provide users with free access to one (1) stage of the game prior to purchase. This allows you to evaluate gameplay, performance, and compatibility before buying full access. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that:

  • You have had the opportunity to evaluate the game
  • You are satisfied with its core mechanics and performance

3. Nature of Digital Content

The game is a digital product delivered instantly upon purchase. Once full access is granted, the product is considered consumed. As such, purchases are generally non-refundable, except under the limited conditions below.

4. Limited Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be granted only if all of the following conditions are met:

  • Total gameplay time is less than 2 hours
  • The request is submitted within 7 days of purchase
  • The game has a verifiable technical issue that prevents core gameplay
  • Our team is unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe

5. Playtime Tracking

We track gameplay activity, including:

  • Total playtime
  • Game progression and stage completion

Refund eligibility is determined based on this data. If playtime exceeds 2 hours, the purchase is considered substantially used and non-refundable.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Playtime exceeding 2 hours
  • Completion or substantial progression of the game
  • Change of mind or dissatisfaction with gameplay
  • Difficulty level or perceived lack of features
  • Device, browser, or system incompatibility not explicitly guaranteed
  • Failure to use the free trial stage prior to purchase
  • Accidental purchases
  • Promotional or discounted purchases
  • Requests made after the 7-day refund window

7. Access & License Revocation

If a refund is granted:

  • Your access to the game will be immediately revoked
  • Your license to use the game is terminated
  • You must cease all use of the game and related content

8. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, contact: admin@agentvillage.io

Include:

  • Account email
  • Transaction ID
  • Description of the issue
  • Supporting evidence (if applicable)

9. Review & Processing

  • All requests are reviewed case-by-case
  • We reserve the right to approve or deny any request
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method

10. Chargebacks & Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback, you agree to contact us first. If a chargeback is initiated:

  • Your account will be immediately suspended
  • Access to the game will be revoked
  • We reserve the right to dispute the chargeback with evidence, including playtime records

11. Abuse & Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to deny refunds in cases of:

  • Attempts to complete or meaningfully consume the game before requesting a refund
  • Multiple refund requests across accounts
  • Any suspected abuse, exploitation, or fraudulent behavior

12. Consumer Rights

This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

13. Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy at any time. Continued use of the game constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
